ASSEMBLY
WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing,
do not operate this product until the parts are replaced.
Use of this product with damaged or missing parts could
result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Do not attempt to modify this product
or create accessories not recommended for use with this
product. Any such alteration or modication is misuse and
could result in a hazardous condition leading to possible
serious personal injury.
WARNING: To prevent accidental starting that could
cause serious personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the machine when assembling parts.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
◾ Collecting leaves, grass clippings and other debris.
◾ Clearing hard surfaces such as driveways and
walkways.
◾ Keeping decks and driveways free from leaves.
NOTICE: The machine is to be used only for its
prescribed purposes. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse.
NOTICE: The machine cannot be started until the
blower tube or vacuum assembly and leaf bag are
completely and correctly assembled.
ASSEMBLING/REMOVING THE BLOWER TUBE
To Assemble (Fig. B1 & B2)
Align the groove and push the tube onto the blower
housing until the blower tube lock lever locks in place.
To Remove (Fig. B3)
Push the blower lock lever to disengage the latch, and
then remove the tube
.
ASSEMBLING/REMOVING THE BLOWER TAPERED
NOZZLE
To Assemble (Fig. C1 & C2)
Align the groove in the tapered nozzle with the tube knob
and push the nozzle onto the tube until it snaps into
place.
To Remove (Fig. C3)
Press and hold the nozzle-release button to disengage the
latch, then pull the nozzle straight from the blower tube.
ASSEMBLING/REMOVING THE VACUUM ASSEMBLY
To Assemble the Vacuum Nozzle (Fig. D)
Align the groove and push the nozzle onto the vacuum
tube until the vacuum nozzle lock button locks in place.
NOTICE: Once the vacuum nozzle and vacuum tube are
rst connected, they become one vacuum assembly that
cannot be taken apart.
To Assemble the Vacuum Assembly
1. Push the vacuum tube lock lever to release the air
intake grille, and then open the grille (Fig. E1 & E2).
2. Align the two raised square corners on the vacuum
assembly with the two recessed square grooves
at the air inlet as shown in g. E3 to engage the
assembly.
3. Press the vacuum assembly towards the air inlet
until the vacuum tube lock lever latches (Fig. E4).
