EN Operating Instructions
Dear Customer,
We are delighted that you have chosen our EASYmaxx alcohol tester. If
you have any questions, contact the customer service department via our
website: www.ds-group.de/kundenservice
Be aware that consuming alcohol always has a negative impact on your
ability to react and judge situations! Even if the product indicates zero
or a low value after you have consumed alcohol, you must not drive a
vehicle, operate machinery or perform any action that may pose a risk
to yourself or others!
IMPORTANT NOTICES
The product measures the approximate alcohol concentration in your
breath and calculates the approximate blood alcohol concentration from
this. None of the values measured are guaranteed.
The alcohol tester cannot be used with legal force to establish
whether a person who has consumed alcohol may drive a vehicle,
operate machinery or perform any other action that may pose
arisk to themselves or others when they are under the influence
of alcohol.
The road trac regulations in the particular country in which the user
is located must be followed and complied with. However, we wish to
explicitly point out that the results which are displayed by the
alcohol tester do not give any indication of whether the user’s
blood alcohol level is within the legally prescribed alcohol limits
for driving on the road.
Keep the product and the packaging material away from children and
animals. There is a danger of suffocation.
Do not blow any cigarette smoke onto the sensor.
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Batteries and the product should
be kept out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swal-
lowed, immediate medical attention must be sought. Danger of burns
from battery acid!
If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery
acid, rinse the affected areas with abundant fresh water straight away
and seek medical attention immediately. Danger of burns from battery
acid!
Use only the battery type specified in the technical data (see “Technical
Data).
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of different
types or brands, or batteries with different capacities. When replacing
batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
Take the batteries out of the battery compartment when they are dead
or if you will not be using the product for a prolonged period. This will
prevent any damage that might occur if a battery leaks.
Remove a leaking battery immediately.
Batteries must not be charged or reactivated in any way, disassembled,
thrown into a fire, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.
Protect the product from flames and heat sources, sub-zero temperatures,
persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.
If the product is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself, but contact
the customer service department.
The product is designed for personal use only and is not intended for
commercial applications. Use the product only for the intended purpose
and as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed
to be improper.
