USE
Please Note!
■ If the product is handled incorrectly or manipulated, lower alcohol
values may be displayed!
■ Note that alcohol affects people in different ways. The same amount
of alcohol in the blood will affect different people in different ways
depending on their size, weight, age and health condition.
L
Following the measurement, the product shows the calculated
BAC value in grams per litre and per cent. BAC stands for “blood
alcohol content” and indicates the blood alcohol level that has
been calculated.
Example: “0.3g/l (or 0.03% BAC)” corresponds to an alcohol content of
0.3g per litre of blood.
Important:
The actual BAC value may differ from the value displayed!
1. Use a dry cloth to wipe the sensor to remove possible contamination
that may interfere with the test result.
2. Press the Power button until you hear a beep. The display switches on.
3. The display shows a Warm up countdown
(warm up phase) that counts down from
10 to 0. Wait until the countdown finishes.
When it finishes, you will hear a beep.
4. After the Warm up, Blow appears on the
display. It starts another countdown which
counts down from 10 to0. During this
countdown, the alcohol concentration in
your breath can be measured.
5. Hold the sensor close to your mouth during the Blow countdown and
blow vigorously into the sensor for approx. 3 – 5 seconds.
• Caution is displayed for calculated blood
alcohol values ≥ 0.02% BAC (or 0.2 g/l)
and < 0.05% BAC (or 0.5 g/l).
• Danger is displayed for a calculated blood
alcohol value ≥ 0.05% BAC (or 0.5 g/l).
6. The product switches off automatically after a few seconds. When the
product switches off, you will hear a beep.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■ Do not use any chemicals or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the
product.

DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly
manner so that it can be recycled.
The adjacent symbol (crossed-out bin underlined) means that
used devices should not be disposed of in the domestic waste, but
should instead be taken to special collection and return systems.
Owners of used devices must remove from the used device any used
batteries or rechargeable batteries which are not encapsulated
by the used device and can be removed in a non-destructive way
and dispose of them separately (see also the section on battery
disposal).
Owners of used devices from private households can take them free
of charge to the collection points of the public waste disposal au-
thorities or the disposal points which are set up by manufacturers
and distributors under the Electrical Equipment Act so that they can
be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and valuable raw
materials can be recovered. If they are not disposed of properly,
toxic ingredients may escape into the environment and cause harm
to the health of humans, animals and plants. Businesses which
market electrical and electronic devices are also obliged to take
back used devices.
(Rechargeable) batteries must not be disposed of along with the
household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of
(rechargeable) batteries separately.
(Rechargeable) batteries can be handed in free of charge at a
collection point of the local authority/district or in retailers so that
they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and
valuable raw materials can be recovered. If they are not disposed
of properly, toxic ingredients may escape into the environment and
cause harm to the health of humans, animals and plants.
Only dispose of (rechargeable) batteries when they are discharged. If
possible, use rechargeable batteries rather than single-use batteries.
In the case of (rechargeable) batteries containing lithium, tape over
the poles before you dispose of them to prevent a short circuit. A
short circuit may cause a fire or explosion.
Waste prevention makes an even more valuable contribution to protect-
ing the environment. This means if possible, as well as continuing to
use or repair, passing it on to another user also represents an ecologi-
cally beneficial alternative to disposal.
