Intended use
This product is suitable for use as a decorative feature indoors.
The product is not a toy!
The product is for personal use only and is not intended for com-
mercial applications.
The product should only be used as described in these operating
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-
pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety instructions
Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
There is a danger of suffocation.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Batteries and the product
should therefore be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
If a battery is swallowed, immediate medical attention must be
sought. There is a danger of burns from battery acid.
If a battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you do touch
battery acid, rinse the affected areas with abundant clear water
straight away and seek medical assistance immediately. There is a
danger of burns from battery acid.
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts on the
product and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if neces-
sary.
Use only the battery type specified in the technical data.
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of diffe-
rent types or brands, or batteries with different capacities. When
replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
Remove the batteries when they are dead or if you will not be
using the product for a prolonged period. This will prevent any
damage if a battery leaks.
Remove a dead battery immediately and clean the contacts before
you insert new batteries.
The batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by other me-
ans, dismantled, thrown into a fire, immersed in fluids, or short-
circuited.
Use suitable fastening material to hang up the product. If you are
unsure which fastening material is suitable for your wall, seek ad-
vice from a specialist stockist.
Install the product at a safe place on a dry surface, a sucient
distance away from heat sources, for example ovens and heating
systems.
Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind the
intended drilling point.
Do not place any heavy objects on the product.
Do not place any containers filled with liquid, for example vases,
on or directly next to the product.
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! It is only
protected against splashing.
Never touch the product with damp or wet hands.
Make sure that the USB cable does not become squashed or bent
and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Protect the product from heat, naked flames, extreme temperatu-
res, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.
The product must not be used if it shows obvious signs of damage.
The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
Items supplied and product overview
Check the items supplied for completeness and the components for
transport damage. If you find any damage, do not use the product but
contact our customer service department.
Remove any possible films, stickers or transport protection
from the product. Never remove the rating plate and any pos-
sible warnings!

Inserting / Changing the batteries
For battery operation, 6 x 1.5 V batteries,AA type are required.
These are not supplied with the product.
1. Open the battery compartment (5): Grip and press down the lock-
ing lug on the battery compartment cover. Lift up the cover at the
same time.
2. Take the used batteries out if necessary and insert 6 x 1.5 V bat-
teries of the AA type. Pay attention to the correct polarity(+ / –).
3. Reattach the battery compartment cover and press it shut. When
you do this, make sure that the locking lugs sit in the recesses
which are provided for them. You must hear and feel it engage.
Changing the battery of the remote control
1. The battery compartment is located
on the narrow side of the remote con-
trol. Pull it out as shown.
2. Take the used battery out and insert
a 3 V battery of the CR2025 type.
The positive pole must be facing up-
wards.
3. Push the battery compartment back into the remote control to
the limit stop.
