3. Loosen the lever (2).
4. Pull the needle out towards the bottom.
5. Insert the new needle into the hole of the needle holder (3)
until it reaches the stop.
Important
Align the needles in such a way that the grooves (4) of the needle
face the hook.
6. Tighten the lever (2).
Order
Always adjust the clearance between the hook and the needle
after changing to a different needle strength ( Service
Instructions).
Disturbance
An incorrect hook side clearance can cause the following
disturbances:
• Changing to a thinner needle:
• Skipped stitch
• Thread damage
• Changing to a thicker needle:
• Damage to the tip of the hook
• Damage to the needle
