7.4 Assembling the pedal and setpoint device

To assemble pedal and setpoint device:
1. Fit the pedal (4) on the cross strut (3) and align it in such a way
that the middle of the pedal is under the needle. The cross strut
has elongated holes to allow the alignment of the pedal.
2. Tighten the pedal (4) on the cross strut (3).
3. Screw the bracket (6) under the tabletop so that the pedal
rod (1) runs to the pedal (4) at right-angles to the setpoint
device (5).
4. Screw the setpoint device (5) onto the bracket (6).
5. Attach the pedal rod (1) with the ball sockets to the setpoint
device (5) and to the pedal (4).
6. Pull the pedal rod (1) to the correct length.
Proper setting
10° inclination with pedal (4) released.
7. Tighten the screw (2).
