Adjusting the leaf spring
To adjust the leaf spring:
1. Adjust the tension of the leaf spring (3) using the adjusting wheel (2).
• Increase the tension: turn clockwise
• Reduce the tension: turn counterclockwise
With the bobbin inserted and the hook thread threaded, a uniform
and easy pull-off must be assured.
4.13 Trimming and clamping device
CAUTION
Risk of injury from pointed and sharp parts
Cutting or puncture possible.
Switch off the machine before adjusting the settings
of the trimming and clamping device for the needle
threads.
