6.2 Connection to the Air Supply
(Figs.2 – 3)
Important: ALWAYS disconnect from the air supply
before assembling, carrying out adjustments, servicing
or maintenance.
To connect the air needle scaler to an air line, a 1⁄4" BSP
male thread whip hose

will be required.
• Wind a length of PTFE tape

around the thread of
the whip hose.

• Remove the bung from the air inlet

and attach the
hose via the 1 ∕4" BSP air inlet

. The connection
must be tight for an airtight union.

cylinder of the tool body.
