7. Operating Instructions
Important: Before operating this product, read and
understand all the safety instructions listed in this
manual. Ensure that the product is fully assembled and
correctly prepared for use.
Note:
• Before connecting the tool to the air supply reduce
the line pressure according to the specication.
• Before tool operation and work commences, ensure
the compressor reservoir is drained of condensate
along with all connected air lines. Check and drain
the air line regulator’s water trap and ll up the
lubrication reservoir.
7.1 Trigger Switch (Fig.5)
• Push the trigger

to operate the needle scaler.
• Release the trigger to stop.

• Turn the airow regulator

7.3 Dust and Swarf
• Wear a correctly tted dust mask suitable for the
activity being carried out.
• A mask rated at FFP2 rated or above is recommended
for activities involving ne particles and dust.
8. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
WARNING!
• Disconnect from the air supply before
carrying out any adjustments, servicing or
maintenance.
• Replace the bung in the end of the air line
inlet

when the tool disconnected from
the air supply and before storing.
8.1 Every-Day Maintenance Checks
Before connection to the air supply:
• Drain the compressor reservoir of condensate.
• Drain the air lines of condensate.
• Drain the combined separator lter, regulator, water
trap.
• Fill up the combined separator lter, regulator,
lubricant reservoir.
• Check the line pressure is correct for the tool.
8.2 After Use Maintenance Checks
• Repeat the above procedures.
• Lubricate the tool with approximately 1.5ml of oil
directly down the air inlet.
• When not in use store in a dry clean place out of the
reach of children.
