Understanding the Status Bar
Along the top of the screen you’ll see the status bar that displays your printer icon, camera connection icon, software
version, and current ID photo template.
It’s a good idea to review the status bar before you use the system to make sure you’re ready to process and print an order!
Printer Icon
Your printer icon gives you an overview of your printer status. From this icon, you can see:
The type of media loaded in the printer.
The number of prints remaining on the media.
The printer status (idle, waiting, printing, error).
The colored bar on the side of the printer icon gives you an idea of your printer status.
Green: The printer is ready to print or currently printing.
Yellow: You need to replace the printer media soon.
Red: There is an issue with the printer that you must address before you can print.
