Observing the orientation shown in Figure 3,
install the battery connector plug into the
respirator until it fully clicks into position.
Position the power cable to the wearers back.
(Figure 4)
NOTE: Make sure the cord does not
obstruct the work area and
become a hazard.
Remove battery connector plug by pushing
lightly on the release area indicated.
(Figure 5)
Visual Inspection of Breathing Zone
• Check the face seal for damage.
• Check the face seal engages properly into the frame. If the face seal cannot be retained
securely in the face shield frame, a new face seal must be fitted. See section ‘Removing &
Replacing the Face Seal’ on page 23.
• Check the quick release headband is properly installed. Replace any damaged parts
including scratched or damaged face shield.
