Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the M.2 2230 solid state drive or M.2 2280 solid state drive.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Remove the processor fan.
7. Remove the graphics-card fan.
8. Remove the heatsink.
9. Remove the system board.
About this task
NOTE: The following procedure is applicable for computers that are shipped with a USH and SD-card daughterboard FPC
only.
The following images indicate the location of the USH and SD-card daughterboard FPC and provide a visual representation of
the removal procedure.

Steps
1. Remove the two screws (M1.4X1.2) that secure the USH and SD-card daughterboard FPC in place.
2. Disconnect and remove the USH and SD-card daughterboard FFC cable from the connector on the system board.
