6. Preparation for work
All operations should be carried out with the plug
unplugged.
The hoover has 2 independent working systems. A system for cold ash
work and, in addition, an air blowing system.
Preparation for work
1. Remove the hoover from the packaging, loosen the side latches and
remove the tank cover (Fig. A. 9), remove the contents from the hoover
tank.
2. Ensure that all components of the appliance have been supplied in
accordance with the parts list (see the operating instructions for a list).
3. Unfasten the clamps securing the hoover housing and open the lower
part of the housing (Fig. A. 5).
Place a HEPA filter (Fig. B, 11) on the filter adapter. Place a material filter
on the dirt container (Fig. B, 12).
5. Place the lid on the hoover tank and close it with the latches.
6. Fit the hoover hose (fig. A, 7) to the air inlet at the bottom of the hoover
(fig. A, 8) and twist gently to lock in place.
7. Depending on the work to be carried out, select and apply the nozzle.
Use the aluminium nozzle for cleaning surfaces from ash, the floor brush
for cleaning flat surfaces, the crevice nozzle for cleaning hard-to-reach
areas. To connect a power tool to the hoover, connect the power tool via
the adapter supplied with the hoover.
Preparing the hoover as an air blower:
1. Connect the flexible hose (fig. A, 7) to the upper outlet socket on the
top of the hoover (fig. A, 2).
7. Connection to the network
Before connecting the appliance to a power source, ensure that the
supply voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the rating plate.
The supply installation should be made in compliance with the essential
requirements for electrical installations and meet the safety requirements
for use. The parameters for the minimum cross-section of the supply
cable and the nominal value of the fuse depending on the power of the
appliance are given in the table below:
Device power [W].
Minimum conductor
cross-section [mm
2
].
Minimum fuse type
C [A].
700÷ 1400

The installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. When
using extension cables, ensure that the conductor cross-section is not
smaller than required (see table). Arrange the cable so that it is not at risk
of being cut during operation. Do not use damaged extension cords.
Periodically check the condition of the power cord. Do not pull on the
power cord.
8. Switching on and using the device
Switching on
There is an on/off switch on the lid of the hoover (Fig. A, 10). The on/off
switch has an I for starting the unit and an O for stopping.
Suction of material
Do not vacuum soot or flammable substances. Do
not vacuum up any objects whose temperature is
higher than 40 °C.
Switch on the hoover, point the nozzle towards the material to be
collected. The material will be sucked into the collector.
If a power tool is connected and the hoover is used as a spoil extractor,
please note that the hoover does not have a synchronous switch, i.e. it
will not start when the power tool starts. The hoover and the power tool
must be started up independently.
Blow
With the appliance switched off, attach the end of the flexible hose to the
outlet socket. Switch on the hoover, direct the air flow at the objects to be
blown out (e.g. dirt in hard-to-reach places, narrow trenches, etc.).
Do not direct the air flow towards people or
animals. Blowing matarial may move at high
speed.
9. Ongoing maintenance
Carry out the following operation with the mains
plug unplugged.
Cleaning the tank
Remove debris from the tank frequently to avoid damage to the hoover.
To clean the tank:
1. Disconnect the flexible hose from the upper tank.
2. remove the top cover with the motor.
3. remove and thoroughly clean the HEPA type filter - the filter is
washable and can be washed with cold water. Wash with normal
pressure water, do not use pressure washers or strong jets of water.
Allow the filter to dry before inserting it into the hoover, do not dry in
industrial dryers, in ovens, do not use hair dryers, heaters, radiant
heaters for drying, do not dry over fire.
4 Thoroughly clean the tank, filter system, flexible hose.
5. Thoroughly clean and shake out the fabric filter.
Storage of the hoover
Store the cleaned, thoroughly dried hoover in its original box, in a dry
place, out of the reach of children and bystanders.
10. Spare parts and accessories
To purchase spare parts and accessories, please contact Dedra-Exim
Service. Contact details can be found on page 1 of the manual. When
ordering spare parts, please quote the batch number on the nameplate
and the part number from the assembly drawing. During the warranty
period, repairs are carried out according to the rules stated in the
Warranty Card. Please return the faulty product for repair at the place of
purchase (the seller is obliged to accept the faulty product), or send it to
DEDRA - EXIM Central Service. Please kindly enclose the guarantee

electronic equipment (applies to households)
The symbol shown on the products or accompanying
documentation informs that faulty electrical or electronic
equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. The
correct course of action in the event of the need for disposal,
reuse or recovery of components is to transfer the device to a specialized
collection point, where it will be accepted free of charge. Information on
the location of collection sites for used equipment is provided by local
authorities, e.g. on their websites.
