It is possible to install the supply air duct at the bottom of the HCV 300 and HCV 400/460
units. This section will guide you through the process of opening the bottom outlet and clos-
ing the corresponding duct connection at the top.

1 Remove the front cover and check
the ventilation unit mode (A/B)
on the main PCB.

2 You can use the duct connection
at the top and at the bottom at
the same time. If you only want
to use duct connection at the bot-
tom, then the duct connection at
the top must be closed.
• Place an insolating block in a
closure cap.
• Close the duct connection
at the top of the unit accord-
ing to mode A or B with the
isolating closure cap.
