Creep Mode Input
Creep mode is for situations where the vehicle is operating in a narrow space, such as a container, in
which it is it dicult to steer the tiller head.
To enable creep mode, set the Creep Mode Enable parameter to Enabled. e Switch Source input
parameter species the creep mode input. In creep mode, the speed is reduced to that specied by
the Max Creep Speed parameter, and interlock braking is activated by the emergency reverse input.
e parameters that congure creep mode are contained by the Creep Mode menu.
e Parameter Mismatch fault is issued if the following conditions occur:
• If the creep input is an I/O input but the parameter for the input’s source is set to a value other
than Disabled or CAN (fault type 210).
• If the creep input is CAN but the Creep Switch bit in the CAN Switches object is not
congured (fault type 220).
e creep mode input can be activated when all of the following conditions are met:
• e interlock state is O.
• e emergency reverse state is O.
• e vehicle is still.
Activating creep mode changes the interlock state to On.
Creep mode is aborted when all of the following conditions are met:
• e motor speed is less than the speed specied by the Set Speed reshold parameter.
• e emergency reverse, creep, and interlock states are O.
• e throttle is in neutral.
Note: e Creep SRO fault is generated for various creep mode conditions.
When creep mode is active, the emergency reverse input is used to brake the vehicle and the
emergency reverse function is inactive. e deceleration rate is specied by the Interlock menu’s
Decel Rate parameter.
