CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the urn is easy, usually requiring little more than rinsing and drying.
1. After using the urn, unplug it and allow it to cool completely. Remove the power cord
before cleaning and be sure that the socket is kept dry.
2. Carefully discard any remaining water from the tank, being sure not to get the display
area of the tank wet. NOTE: Any water left in the tank can cause an unpleasant odor and
mineral deposits.
3. Wipe the exterior and interior with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or
scouring pads on the inside or outside or you may damage the unit. WARNING: Do NOT
immerse the unit in water.
4. Hand wash the urn tank, lid, and tray with soap and water, and dry well. The lid is also
top-rack dishwasher safe; the tray is not.
5. Be sure the unit is completely dry before storing.
6. As part of the urn's maintenance, periodically remove mineral buildup following the
directions on p. 17.
