When sewing two pieces of lace together, the two halves must be guided ush along the thread guide (3).

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Switch o the appliance.
Open the looper cover. Disengage the upper cutter and remove the presser foot.
Use the brush included to remove lint from the needle plate, the upper and lower cutters and the looper area.
Occasionally clean the rubber feet of the machine with methylated spirits. This will provide good stability for the machine.
Lubricating the machine
Switch o the appliance.
The area shown in the gure below must be lubricated with oil each time the machine is cleaned. One or two drops
of oil will suce. All other parts are made of special material and do not require lubrication.
