Fastening the upper cutter

Slide the upper cutter holder to the right and move the cutter backwards until it locks in the correct position. Close the looper cover and reattach

the part shown in the picture.

Assembling the converter

The upper looper must be converted into a converter when sewing two-threaded seams and two-needle,

three-threaded overlocked seams.

Switch o the appliance.

Unhook the part shown in the gure and open the looper cover. The converter is located at the front of the

machine. Pull it out.

Note: the two-thread adapter can be found in the accessory kit.

Turn the handwheel until the upper looper is to the right of the movable upper cutter.

Insert the hub (A) of the converter into the hole of the upper looper.

Turn the converter to the left and press the upper part slightly backwards so that the tip of the converter locks into the eye of the looper.
