6.5.1 Upgrading the device via APPLICA
To complete the upgrade correctly, proceed as follows:
1. connect to the device using the default password 22 or, if changed, the value set for parameter PDS;
2. save the confi guration to the mobile device;
3. export the confi guration:
• select “share” in the left menu;
• save the confi guration to a folder on the mobile device;
4. update the device by selecting the .pack fi le previously downloaded or indicated by the fi rmware update procedure;
5. import the previously saved confi guration;
6. apply the confi guration.
Steps 3 and 5 can be skipped if using the APPLICA app version 1.11.2376 or higher; starting from this version, the confi gurations
are also visible between diff erent device fi rmware versions.
6.5.2 Upgrading the device using APPLICA desktop
To complete the upgrade correctly, proceed as follows:
1. connect to the device using the default password 22 or, if changed, the value set for parameter PDS;
2. save the existing confi guration:
• select the “Confi gurations” menu;
• select the “New” > “New confi guration” button to create a new confi guration and assign it a name;
• select the “Edit” > “Applica live values” button to load the parameter values currently present on the device;
• select the “File” > “Export” button to save the confi guration to a folder on your personal computer;
3. select the “Target” menu and upgrade the device via the “Download” button and selecting the previously downloaded .pack
fi le;
4. import the previously saved confi guration by selecting “File” > “Import”;
5. apply the confi guration by selecting “Applica” > “Applica confi guration”.

7. FUNCTIONS
The following paragraphs describe how to implement a detailed parameter confi guration. The parameters described below can
be confi gured via the Applica Desktop confi guration software or the Applica app.
Caution: the information available in Applica may vary according to the password set and the confi guration defi ned by the
unit manufacturer, and consequently not all of the parameters shown may be visible or modifi able.
For details on the parameters and the related access levels, see the “Parameter table”.
7.1 ON/OFF
The unit can be switched on or off in diff erent ways: user interface (button or parameter), supervisor and digital input.
Parameter On is used to switch the controller ON/OFF. If there is a digital input confi gured as remote ON/OFF, this has higher
priority than the supervisor command or the On parameter.

In this operating mode, the display shows the standard display set by parameter /t1, alternating with the message “OFF”.
