Appendixes
1. Moving the Printer
Usually, the installation and preparation of this product is performed by
our service personnel. When moving the printer to another part of the
building, or when newly connecting it to a computer, install it in the new
environment by following the steps shown in this section.

Press the
POWER
key to go
into the power saving mode,
and then turn the main power
switch off (
) position.
If you have any paper loaded in the
printer, first lower the feeder tray by
pressing the lift switch, remove paper,
and then turn the power off.

Open the sub cover at the
back of the main unit, and at-
tach the cap you will find
there firmly to the six holes
forming the top row.

Remove the power cord, the
interface cables, the card
holder and the paper stacker
from the main unit.

Lift up and move the printer
main unit.
To lift and carry the main unit, pull out
the four handles from the bottom part,
and grip those handles. Make sure it is
carried by at least two persons.
Carry the unit gently, keeping it in a level position. If the ink spills inside, it may cause
fire or electric shock.
