❏ Print Direction
The Print Direction radio buttons allow you to choose the direction of the print image in relation to the
paper.
When you are running Windows 98/95, use the Paper tab to set the print direction.
When you are running Windows NT, open the Document Properties dialog box. In the dialog, select the
Page Setup tab, click Paper, and click Print Direction to set the print direction. The "180-degree
Rotation" option is also available from this window.
On Windows 98/95 computers On Windows NT computers
• Print Direction
Portrait: The printed image is upright in relation to the paper feeding direction.
Landscape: On name cards (the leading edge is the longer edge), the printed image is turned 90 de-
grees to the right from the paper feeding direction.
On postcards and envelopes (the leading edge is the shorter edge), the printed image is
turned 90 degrees to the left from the paper feeding direction.
• 180-degree Rotation
:
The print image is turned 180 additional degrees from the position specified by the
Portrait/Landscape radio buttons.
Be sure to make a test print first, since some applications have their own ways of
determining print direction. Refer to the manual of each application for details.
