3. Paper Tab Settings
❏ Feeding Direction and Print Direction
The figure below illustrates how the Print Direction parameters are reflected on each media in relation
to the feeding direction of that media.
● For more information about how to set any particular type of paper in the feeder tray,
refer to the table on page 20.
● On Windows 98/95 computers, click the Paper tab from the Properties window to see
the illustration showing the current settings of the print direction.
● Be sure to make a test print first, since some applications have their own ways of de-
termining print direction. Refer to the manual of each application for details.
