6.1. Mounting on luggage rack
Attach the rear light

to the luggage rack using the two hexagon screws

(bolt spacing 50 mm).
The rear reflector

can be mounted together with the tail light. To do this, put the reflector on
the hexagon screws

of the tail light

and screw the components onto the luggage rack.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the reflector is correctly aligned, see sketch 2.
If the rear light

does not fit on the luggage rack due to its design, it is possible to move the
rear light
1
upwards using the adapter plate

To do this, place the adapter plate

onto the hexagon screws

of the rear light
1
and screw
it in so that the adapter plate points downwards with its wider part.
Then connect the mounting screws and nuts of the adapter plate to the luggage rack.

With the adapter plate, the rear light

can be mounted to the luggage rack with a bolt
spacing of 50 mm .
Only tighten the nuts so that the tail light
1
cannot slip or fall off.
If the hexagon screws
3
mounted on the rear light are not sufficient due to the design of the
bicycle or the luggage rack, they can be replaced (see 6. Installation sketch 3).
To do this, remove the two T10 screws

on the underside of the taillight

and separate the
taillight
1
into upper and lower parts.
After removing the upper part of the taillight

, the two M5 x 22 hex screws can be replaced
with longer screws that are appropriate for the intended use. Then reassemble the taillight

and tighten it with the T10 screws

to 1 Nm .
