4. Legal provisions
Before riding your bicycle on public roads, you must familiarize yourself with the laws and regulations
in force in your country and local regulations and follow them at all times. In Germany, you can find
these in the road traffic regulations; outside Germany, you can find them in other sources, depending
on where you are.
The mounting height prescribed for rear lights and rear reflectors in Germany is between 25 and 120
cm. You can find more information in the road traffic licensing regulations. If necessary, you can also
contact a bicycle dealer in your area. Make sure that the lighting is installed and aligned in such a way
that oncoming traffic is not blinded.

Your bicycle lights should never be covered. Make sure that the lights are properly installed and
aligned. The rear reflector should be aligned perpendicular to the road.
The connection of this rear light is only permitted on vehicles where it is guaranteed that after the
battery has been switched off due to discharge, there will still be power available to supply the lighting
system for at least 2 hours.
