Cleaning the detergent container
To avoid detergent deposits, the drawer must be
cleaned regularly.
• Pull out the drawer until it stops.
• Carefully press down the lever in the detergent
dispenser and pull the drawer out completely at
the same time.
• Remove the rinse tray from the detergent dis-
penser compartment.
• Wash the chambers carefully under running wa-
ter. If necessary, use a soft brush for the housing.
• Assemble the detergent drawer properly and re-
turn it to its position.
Cleaning the inlet filter
CAUTION:
• Close the water supply before cleaning!
• Always check if the water hoses are properly rein-
stalled and no water leaks.
Regular cleaning of the inlet filters ensures an opti-
mum water supply.
Inlet filter on the tap
• Unscrew the inlet hose from the water valve.
• Wash the inlet filter under running water. Firmly
reconnect the inlet hose.
Inlet filter at the appliance
• Unscrew the inlet hose from the appliance back.
• Remove and clean the filter with a small brush.
• Insert the filter and reconnect the inlet hose firmly.
Cleaning the filter of drain pump
CAUTION:
The appliance must never be used without the filter.
The foreign object trap in the drain pump prevents
rinsed-out parts from blocking the drain pump sys-
tem.
• Open the maintenance cover in the appliance
base. This may require the use of a tool.
• Carefully pull out the drain hose, remove the cap
and drain the residual water into a container.
• Turn the filter counterclockwise. Watch out for
leaking water!
• Remove the filter and remove any dirt and foreign
objects.
• If necessary, clean the pump with an old tooth-
brush or cloth.
• Reinsert the filter and make sure it is firmly seated
so that no water can escape.
• Firmly replace the sealing cap on the drain hose
and carefully return it to its original position.
• Close the maintenance flap.
