Changing the program
• First interrupt the washing process with the
Start/Pause button and switch the appliance off
and on again briefly.
• Select the desired program and restart operation.
End of program
At the end of the wash cycle, several beeps sound; a
few minutes later, the door lock is released, and the
appliance is switched off automatically.
Switching off
• If desired, switch the appliance off manually using
the
On/Off button.
• Close the water supply!
• Leave the appliance door slightly open until the
next wash cycle to avoid odors.
• If the appliance is not in use for an extended peri-
od, disconnect the mains plug or switch off or turn
out the fuse.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING:
• Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it
from the power supply before cleaning and user
maintenance.
• Allow the appliance to cool down enough before
cleaning. Scalding!
• Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the appli-
ance; moisture could enter electrical components.
Risk of electric shock! Hot steam could damage
the plastic parts.
• The appliance must be dry before restarting oper-
ation.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other sharp, abrasive
items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
NOTE:
Dirty or clogged filter degrades the washing result.
Regularly check the filter and clean them if neces-
sary.
Cleaning schedule
The cleaning intervals depend on the frequency of
use and the water conditions.
Recommended cleaning intervals
Descaling 2x per year
Empty washing cycle once a month
Door seal wipe dry after every wash,
clean every 1-2 months
Drum every 1-3 months
Detergent drawer every 1-2 months
Inlet filter every 6-12 months
Drain pump filter every 1-3 months
Regular cleaning helps to extend the service life of
the appliance.
Maintenance of the washing machine
• Clean the outer surfaces of the appliance and the
door seal carefully with a soft, damp cloth. Only
use a mild detergent.
• To clean the appliance drum, use a cloth mois-
tened with a little vinegar or a special detergent
for washing machines.
• Recommendation: run the appliance regularly in
the »Drum Clean« program without a load.
• Dry the exterior of the appliance thoroughly before
using it again.
• If the correct amount of detergent is used, descal-
ing is required less often. Use special descaling
agents with corrosion protection.
