Alarm function
The appliance is equipped with a warning system to
prevent an unnoticed rise in temperature or loss of
energy.
With appliance door open
If the appliance door remains open for longer than
90 seconds, an alarm sounds.
- The alarm stops as soon as the appliance door is
closed.
- Alternatively, the alarm can be silenced by press-
ing the
(SET) button.
With temperature increase
If the appliance is restarted after a power failure or if
there is a fault and the temperature in the freezer
compartment rises above -6°C, an alarm sounds.
At the same time, the LEDs start to flash to alert you
to the problem.
- The alarm is automatically deactivated as soon as
the temperature falls below -10°C again.
- Alternatively, the alarm can be silenced by press-
ing the
(SET) button.
Settings
The internal temperature is significantly influenced by
the ambient temperature (installation location), the
frequency with which the door is opened and how the
appliance is loaded.
During the initial operation, the lowest temperature
(highest power level) or the
super freezing should be
set until the desired operating temperature is
reached. We then recommend resetting to a medium
level to make it easier to adjust the temperature if
necessary.
A permanently high-power level leads to increased
energy consumption.
A freezing temperature of -18°C is recommended.
Higher temperatures (i.e. less cold settings) can re-
duce the shelf life of food.
Equipment
Note that the equipment may vary depending on
the appliance type.
The height of the various shelves and drawers can
be adjusted or removed (depending on the model) -
ideal for individual storage and easy cleaning.
NOTE:
For optimum energy efficiency, all shelves and draw-
ers should remain in their original position.
Removing / inserting the drawers
• Pull the drawer out to the front. If necessary, tilt it
slightly to remove it completely.
• To insert the drawer, lift it slightly at the front if
necessary and push it in completely.
Ice cube tray
Depending on the model, an ice cube tray for making
ice cubes is included with the appliance.
• Fill the ice cube tray about ¾ full of fresh drinking
water.
• Place the tray horizontally in the freezer and leave
it to freeze for several hours.
• To make it easier to remove the ice cubes from
the mold, briefly hold the tray under warm water.
Storing food
NOTE: Recommendation!
To ensure that the temperature in the appliance is
sufficiently low, it should be pre-cooled for some time
before loading food for the first time.
