3.4.7 Mounting the chimney

The chimney comprises two chimney ducts that slide inside

one another. There are two ventilation slots inside the inner

chimney duct.

. ATTENTION!

Danger of damage through improper handling!

The body of the hood and the chimney could be damaged

by movements during the installation.

1 Keep a distance between the chimney and the body of

the hood.

1 Keep objects that could scratch the device far away from

it (e.g. tools, belt buckles).

The ventilation slots are located at the top and are not

covered.

1 Lift the chimney up with two persons.

1 Place the lower edge of the chimney into the groove of

the device.

1 Pivot the chimney flush against the wall.

1 Pull the inner chimney duct upwards.

1 Hang the inner chimney duct up on the chimney mount.

3.4.8 Insert the Capillar Trap, bulging edge and

lower section

After the installation, the parts lying inside should be re-fitted.

1 Insert the Capillar Trap into the mounting slot in a bow

movement with both hands.

1 Push the Capillar Trap upwards until it latches into place.

1 Place the bulging edge onto the upper section.

1 Check whether the bulging edge is correctly placed and

held by the magnets.
