1. Place the device on the kitchen unit or another dry, clean work surface, following the safety
notices and the notices provided at the beginning of this chapter.
2. Plug the mains plug into a plug socket.
Using the toaster
1. Check if the crumb tray is locked in place.
2. Connect the toaster to the mains.
3. The different modes will appear on the display. In the basic setting, the preselection button
(7) for toast will ash.
4. Select a desired baked good using the preselection buttons (7) – (12).
5. Then set the desired degree of browning (13). You can choose between 6 browning levels
(level A, the lightest level of toasting, to level F, the strongest level of toasting). The duration
of the toasting process will be shown in minutes on the display.
6. Now insert the desired baked goods.
7. Press the Start/Stop button (1) to start the toasting process. The baked goods will automati-
cally be routed to the heating area. The display will show the baked goods selected, as well as
the selected degree of browning. The remaining duration is shown on the display.
8. Once the remaining time has elapsed, the heating process will stop, and the baked goods will
be transported upwards. The baked goods can then be removed.
WARNING! The baked goods may become very hot. Please remove them carefully.
9. IMPORTANT! The heating process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the
Start/Stop button (1).
10. It is recommended to let the toaster cool down for a few minutes before the next use.
PLEASE NOTE!
• Do not leave the device unattended during operation.
NOTE
• During the toasting process, the degree of browning of the baked goods can be checked.
This prevents the baked goods from becoming too dark or burning. Briey press the Raise
button (6) in order for the baked goods to be briey moved up. After a few seconds, the
baked goods will lower again, and the heating process will automatically continue.
• We recommend choosing a lower toasting time if you are toasting just one slice of toast.
• The toasting depends on the type of bread. We therefore recommend carrying out
several trials.
