NTC error
1. In the lter coffee brewing system, the displays for minute (20), Hour (29), Programme
(19) and Brewing/Off (30) will ash if the NTC is not working properly (open circuit/short
circuit).
2. In the espresso brewing system, the displays for the Power (24), One cup (23), Two cup
(26) and Steam/Preheat (25) buttons will ash if the NTC is not working properly (open
circuit/short circuit).
Cleaning and storage
CAUTION!
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
• To clean, do not use toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents and scouring sponges.
These can damage the surfaces.
• Clean the cover (2), lter (3), water tank, funnel (4), etc., with a wet cloth. Clean the
one-cup sieve, two-cup sieve and steam tube (15) with the cleaning needle (18) if
necessary.
• Push the anti-drip valve upwards for 3–4 times to empty the residual water.
• Wipe external surface of product with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
• Water droplets may build up in the area above the coffee funnel and drip onto the
base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth
after each use of the product. Clean the warming plate with a moist cloth and do not
use abrasive cleaning agents.
• When the appliance has performed 300 cycles of brewing lter coffee, the LCD display
will show “Clean” and “Clean” will keep ashing to remind you to clean it. Other
buttons can still be pressed to make the appliance work normally if cleaning is not
performed.
• When it is time to clean, press and hold the Hour (29) and minute (20) buttons simul-
taneously for 3 seconds to switch to cleaning mode.
• “Clean” will appear on the LCD display and you will hear a beep. Then press the Brew-
ing/Off (30) button, and the display of the Brewing/Off (30) button will light up. The
appliance will continue to operate until the water tank is emptied and a beep can be
heard. The appliance will go back to standby mode after cleaning is nished.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if you are not going to use it for a long
time.
• Store the appliance and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected
from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and animals.
