Calcication
To ensure that the espresso and coffee machine works efciently, the mineral deposits left by
the water should be removed regularly, depending on the water quality in the area and the
frequency of use. We recommend removing mineral deposits as follows:
1. Fill the container with water and descaling agent up to the maximum level indicated by the
water level indicator.
2. Put the glass carafe on the hotplate. Make sure that the lter and funnel are in position; do
not add coffee grounds.
3. Switch on the machine and let the descaling agent brew in one-cup mode (23).
4. Leave the solution for 15 minutes. Switch on the appliance and let the solution drain until
the water tank is completely empty.
5. Rinse the appliance by running water through it at least three times.
Warranty and Limitations of Liability
All defects caused by improper handling, calcication, damage or attempts at repair are
excluded from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
We do not accept any liability for damage or consequential damage resulting from:
• Failure to follow the operating manual
• Unintended use
• Improper or inappropriate handling
• Improperly performed repairs
• Unauthorised alterations
• Use of foreign parts or spare parts
• Use of unsuitable supplementary or accessory parts
Keep the original packaging during the appliance‘s warranty period so that you can pack
the appliance properly in the event of a return shipment. Transport damage leads to the
expiry of the warranty claim.
