During the standby mode for the steam function, the led indicators of the Power (24) and
Steam/Preheat (25) buttons will light continuously. The appliance will exit from the steam
function if the Steam/Preheat (25) button is pressed again. The LED indicators for the
One cup (23) and Two cup (26) buttons will ash to indicate that the heater is cooling
down for the next brewing operation. The appliance will then return to standby mode. The
appliance will switch off when the Power (24) button is pressed.
3. Rotate the knob to the “Steam” position to activate the steam function. The steam func-
tion will be stopped after the knob is turned to the off position.
4. The Steam/Preheat (25) indicator will then light up. Press the Steam/Preheat (25) button
again to exit from the steam generation mode.
5. The LED indicators for the One cup (23) and Two cup (26) buttons will ash to indicate
that the heater is cooling down for the next brewing operation. The appliance will then
return to standby mode.
(1) It is recommended to release the steam rst for 10 seconds, because that can improve
the milk frothing.
(2) The steam function can only be operated normally after water has drained out by
pressing and holding the Steam/Preheat (25) button and the One cup (23) or Two cup
(26) button.
(3) The appliance can be preheated normally if the button is left in the “Steam”
position before pressing the Power (24) button.
WARNING! When steam production has nished, turn the button to the off position.
Otherwise, scalding may occur.
Standby mode
1. The white background of the LCD display will switch off if no operation is performed
within 15 seconds in standby mode.
2. The appliance will automatically switch to sleep mode if it is not operated within 30 min-
utes in standby mode.
Switching the beep on or off
1. To turn off the beep, simultaneously hold and press the Programme (19) and minute (20)
buttons for 3 seconds. The icon “
” shown on the LCD display will light up.
2. To turn on the beep, press and hold the Programme (19) and minute (20) buttons again
simultaneously for 3 seconds. The “
” icon will disappear from the LCD display.
