Preparing espresso
1. Open the espresso water tank cover (11) and add drinking water into the espresso water
tank.
Do not operate the appliance without water or with less water than the MIN indicator.
2. Select the one-cup sieve (13) or the two-cup sieve (14) as needed and then insert it into
the sieve holder (16). Then add suitable coffee grounds into the sieve. It is recommended
to add 7 g of coffee grounds for a one-cup espresso and to add 14 g of coffee grounds for
a two-cup espresso. Tamp the coffee grounds with the back of the coffee spoon and then
attach the sieve holder (16) onto the appliance.
3. Put a container onto the drip tray (17) to collect the coffee.
4. All the icons will be shown on the LCD display and all the led displays will turn on for 2
seconds, accompanied by an audible beep. Coffee bean strength (28) will then light up
continuously. “Clock”, “PM” and “Time” will ash for 5 seconds.
5. Press the Power (24) button to turn on the espresso brewing system. The led indicators
of the Power (24) and Steam/Preheat (25) buttons will light up continuously, and the led
indicators of the One cup (23) and Two cup (26) buttons will ash. The appliance will then
enter the preheating mode. After preheating the appliance, rst run hot water for two cups
through the unlled sieve holder with sieve insert. All the LED indicators of the espresso
brewing system will light continuously once the preheating is nished. Hold and press the
Steam/Preheat button (25) and One cup (23) or Two cup (26) button until water ows
out. The appliance can then be used to prepare espresso.
6. The LED display for the Power (24) button will switch on and the LED display for the
7. One cup (23) or Two cup (26) button will ash. The appliance will then start to work.
After brewing nishes, the appliance will return to standby mode. Only the selected button
and Power (24) button can work during the brewing process.
8. The red buoy will oat when the drip tray is full of water. Empty the drip tray in time.
The lter coffee brewing system can be operated while the espresso brewing system is in
operation.
Steam generation
1. Open the espresso water tank cover (11) and add drinking water into the espresso water tank.

buttons will light up continuously, and the led indicators of the One cup (23) and Two cup
(26) buttons will ash. The appliance will then enter the preheating mode. All the LED
indicators of the espresso brewing system will light continuously once the preheating is
nished.
