Handling and operation
Preparing lter coffee
1. Open the lter coffee water tank cover (5) and add drinking water into the lter coffee
water tank.
Do not operate the appliance without water or with less water than the MIN indicator.
The appliance can brew a maximum of 10 cups of coffee in every brewing cycle.
2. Put the lter (3) into the coffee funnel (4) and then place the coffee funnel into the funnel
holder. Ensure that the coffee funnel is correctly placed.
3. Add suitable coffee grounds into the lter. A cup of coffee needs a level spoon of coffee
grounds. However, you can adjust the amount according to personal taste. And then
replace the top cover (1).
4. Insert the glass carafe (8) with cover in place onto the warming plate horizontally, ensuring
that the centre line of the carafe aligns with the anti-drip valve.
5. Connect the appliance to a suitable power source.
6. All the icons will be shown on the LCD display and all the LED displays will light up for 2
seconds, accompanied by an audible beep. Then Coffee bean strength (28) 5 will light up
continuously. “Clock”, “PM” and “Time” will ash for 5 seconds. You can set the time using
the Hour (29) and Minute (20) buttons. After setting the time, the appliance will return to
standby mode. At this point, the LCD display will only show the time with PM (or AM) and
Coffee bean strength (28).
7. Press the Brew/Off button (30). The appliance will start to work and brew coffee.
WARNING! Do not open the top cover to avoid burns during operation.
Only the Brew/Off button (30) will work while it is brewing.
8. After a while, the coffee will be dispensed from the coffee outlet and ow into the glass
carafe (8). When the brewing process is complete, the appliance will stop working and switch
to warming mode. “Time since brewing” will be shown on the LCD display and the white
background will switch off.
The glass carafe can be taken out at any time and used for serving. The appliance will stop
dripping automatically. However, the time must not exceed 30 seconds.
9. After brewing nishes, the appliance will emit 3 beeps to indicate it has entered keep-
warm mode. The keep-warm time lasts 30 minutes.
Setting standby mode
1. To adjust the standby time, press and hold the Hour (29) or Minute (20) button for 3
seconds. “Time”, “AM” or “PM” and “Clock” will ash while Coffee bean strength (28)
