Your Baby Lock Splendor comes
equipped with a knee lifter.
Using your knee, the presser foot can
easily be raised and lowered; leaving
both hands free to manage the fabric.
Align the tabs on the knee lifter with
the notches in the knee lifter slot, and
insert the knee lifter by pushing it
toward the machine until it clicks into
place.
The black "knee lifter front cover
protector" should be positioned as
shown in the illustration.
To remove the knee lifter place your
left hand on the front cover and with
your right hand pull knee lifter straight
out.
Trim Bin
The Splendor has a detachable Trim Bin designed to catch
trimmed fabric during sewing.
To attach the Trim Bin
1. Remove the needle-drop drawer (Photo. A).
2. Align the magnetic needle drop area of Trim Bin with
the left and right slots on the bottom of the machine and
slide Trim Bin into position (Photo. B).
Note: To remove pull the Trim Bin toward you and replace
following step 2.
