CONNECTIONS (CONT) I N STALL ATI O N
With the key in the off position:
1. Connect the AXDI-CL2 harness into the AXDI-CL2 interface, and then to the wiring harness in
the vehicle.
Note: If installing an AXSWC, connect it after you program and test the AXDI-CL2, with the
key in the off position.
Attention! If the interface loses power for any reason, the following steps will need to be
performed again.
1. Cycle the engine on.
Note: If the radio doesn’t come on within 60 seconds, turn the key to the off position,
disconnect the interface, check all connections, reconnect the interface, and then try again.
2. Cycle the ignition off, then back on.
3. Test all functions of the installation for proper installation.
12-pin pre-wired AXSWC harness:
• This harness is to be used along with the AXSWC (sold separately) to retain steering wheel
audio controls. If the AXSWC is not being used, disregard this harness. If it will be used, refer
to the AXSWC instructions for radio connections and programming. Disregard the harness
that comes with the AXSWC.
• The following wire(s) must be cut before programming the AXSWC:
* For the following vehicles cut the White/Green, Green/Orange, and Orange/Green wires.
** For the following vehicles cut the White/Green, Pink, and Green/Orange wires.
*** For the following vehicles cut the Pink and Green/Orange wires.
† For the following vehicles cut the White/Green and Pink wires.
‡ For the following vehicles cut the Pink wire.
