Front Door Installation

DID YOU KNOW? The front door may be hung left- or right- hinged as required by the final installation.

NOTE: Installed equipment may interfere with proper door closing. See Initial Rail Setup section before proceeding. The door will be mounted

on the left side of the rack from the factory.

1. Open the door fully.

2. Remove the safety door strap. Remove the screws attaching the safety strap on both the door and frame. Remove the cable and set aside

with the screws.

3. To remove the door, slide the top hinge lock pin toward the top of the cabinet, then slide bottom hinge towards the bottom of the cabinet.

Remove door.

4. Remove the 4 caps protecting the door installation points on the cabinet and set aside.

5. Install the 4 caps in the hinge mounting holes on the left side of the rack.

6. Reattach the safety door strap to the frame of the cabinet.

7. Orient the door as it will be mounted on the cabinet. The hinge side will be opposite from the handle and lock.

8. Re-lock the top and bottom hinge on the door.

9. Reattach the safety door strap to the top of the door.

To reverse door lock if needed:

1. Remove both screws on metal mounting plate, set aside.

2. Remove mounting plate, set aside.

3. Position locking latch to vertical and remove lock assembly.

4. Flip lock assembly to desired direction and reinsert in front door.

5. Replace mounting bracket and attach with the two screws.

6. Remove screw and locking latch.

7. Reposition latch to lock into cabinet and attach with the screw.
