5. Fill the tank with water (see Fig. E).
WARNING! Use distilled water only.
6. Place the water tank in the steamer. The markings on the tank and on the
device casing should align in the “Closed” position (see Fig. F, G).
7. Insert the power cord plug into an outlet. The indicator will start glowing
white.
8. Wait about 35 s until the water is heated.
9. Perform a test run of the device (see “Test Run”).
Test Run
When turning on the device for the first time as well as after a long period of
storage, it is recommended to perform a test run to clean the steamer head of
dust and possible dirt. The test run is the release of the first jet of steam into
the air. The test run is performed as follows:
1. After preparing the device for use, press and hold the steam button for
approximately 5 s.
Note. A few drops of water may come out of the steamer head with the first jet
of steam.
2. Release the steam button.
Operating Instructions
After preparing the device for use, point the steamer head at the article. Press
and hold the steam button for the device to generate steam continuously.
When the steaming is complete, release the button and unplug the device.
Wait for the device to cool down completely. Remove the tank (see Fig. D) and
drain the remaining water. Allow the tank to dry completely: to do this, its cap
must be open. Before storing the device, carefully turn the handle as shown in
Fig. C.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING! Clean the device only after unplugging it and letting it cool down
completely.
