come into contact with hot objects or heat sources. Do not allow the casing of
the device as well, as the plug to come into contact with water. Do not leave
the plugged-in device unattended. Do not allow children to play with the
device. Connect the device directly to the electricity supply, do not use
extension cords. Unplug the device by grasping the plug, not the power cord.
Use the device with dry hands only. Before steaming, check the product care
label. Do not touch the hot surface of the steamer head. Do not steam clothes
on humans or animals. Do not point a jet of steam at people or animals, as well
as objects that could be damaged by hot steam. Unplug the device before
cleaning. Do not use chemical or aggressive detergents, abrasive pastes, acids,
solvents, or metal sponges for cleaning. Do not wash the device under running
water. Do not use a device that has fallen into water or is damaged. Detailed

Preparing the Device for Operation
1. Carefully open the packaging and remove the device from the travel bag.
2. Gently turn the device handle as shown in Fig. B.
Note. A slight backlash in the folding mechanism of the device handle is not a
defect and does not affect the performance of the device.
3. Clean the device (see “Cleaning and Maintenance”).
4. Remove the water tank (see Fig. D).
