Chapter 2 System Setup
2.4.1 Embedding the TPC-100W System and Earth Grounding
Setup
Follow these steps to set up the TPC-100W system. Ensure that the grounding pin of
the TPC-100W system is properly connected to an earth ground. Proper grounding
enhances system performance, providing optimal EMI immunity, ESD immunity,
surge immunity, and system isolation.
If the TPC-100W system is installed in a cabinet, the system ground, cabinet ground,
and earth ground must be connected together to ensure reliable operation.
1. Install the TPC-100W system into the cabinet.
A: Connect the cabinet to the earth ground.
B: Install the TPC-100W system into the cabinet without I/O or power cables.
