Chapter 2 Hardware Functionality
The I/O user interface is designed for digital input processing and digital output con-
trol. For detailed electrical parameters see Chapter 3.4. The functional scheme of
connection for the digital input and digital output is in Figure 2.8.

2.7 Serial Interfaces
Two independent serial interfaces are connected to the 10-pin terminal block panel
socket.

The RS485 interface corresponds to the COM1 port. The pinout of the RS485 inter-
face refers to Table 2.6.
