2.5 Power Supply
A two-pin terminal connector (pitch 3.5 mm) is utilized to power the ECU-1052. The
corresponding connector is included as a standard accessory with the device.

The required power supply voltage for the device ranges between +9 V and +48 V
DC. Refer to the connection scheme in Figure 2.5 for proper setup. The device is
equipped with built-in protection against reversed polarity, functioning without signal-
ing. To guarantee correct operation, the power source must be capable of providing a
sufficient amount of energy, as detailed in the consumption section of Chapter 3.1.

Caution! Grounding the device using the grounding screw eliminates the protec-
tion against reversed polarity. Ensure the negative pole of the DC power
supply shares the same voltage reference as the grounding screw. A
voltage difference between these points may damage the device,
necessitating repairs exclusively by an authorized service center.
Note! Unit has to be supplied by a power supply specified as a Limited Power
Source (LPS) or CEC/NEC Class 2 source of supply.
