3.5.1 Camera
To register an ABUS Wi-Fi camera in the Smartvest Pro alarm panel, please proceed as follows:
1. You need the Smartvest Pro iOS / Android app.
2. The camera must already have been set up with the ABUS App2Cam Plus app. You can nd out
more about this step in the ABUS App2Cam Plus instructions.
3. If the ABUS Wi-Fi camera is not in the same network, you will need your camera DID. Otherwise,
only the security code is required. Where you can nd your DID is explained in the next step.
Alternatively you can nd the information in your camera instructions.
1. Register the camera via the "Settings" menu in the app under the menu item "Manage
components" > "Add new component".
2. Select the corresponding component (camera) from the list.
3. In the next step, you must enter the DID of the ABUS Wi-Fi camera that you want to connect.
There are 3 options for this:
1. If your smartphone is in the same network as the camera (the smartphone is connected
to the same Wi-Fi router), you can use the "Camera search" option. Here you can then
select the DID of the desired ABUS Wi-Fi camera.
2. You can copy the DID from the APP2CAM PLUS app and enter it manually in the text line.
