2❷ Installing the salt water chlorinator
2.1 I Installing the electrolyc cell
• The cell must always be the last element placed on the pool return pipe (see § “2.1.1. Installing the cell
and the sensor holder (depending on model)”).
• It is always recommended to install the cell on a by-pass. This assembly is mandatory if the ow is in
excess of 18 m³/hour to avoid head loss. A ow regulaon valve must be included.
• When the cell is installed on a by-pass, t a check valve downstream from the cell instead of a manual
valve, to avoid any risk of incorrect conguraon and poor circulaon inside the cell.
2.1.1. Installing the cell and the sensor holder (depending on model)
• The cell must be installed on the piping aer the ltraon system, aer any measurement sensors, and aer any
heang system.
• The cell's installaon must allow easy access to the installed electrodes.
• Two valves must be installed for isolang the cell from the rest of the installaon, so that maintenance tasks can be
performed without emptying the pool.

• Respect the water ow direcon indicated on the cell.
• The circulaon system must guarantee the minimum required ow (see§ “1.2 I Technical
specicaons”).
• For Ø50 mm pipes, use glue-on PVC adapters of the corresponding diameter.
• Connect the cell power cord following the wire colour codes (red, yellow, and orange connectors) and then ret the
protecve cap (see § “2.1.3. Connecng the cell to the control box”).
