14.3 Preparation of the surface
NOTE
The use of paint thinners, gasoline, corrosive chemicals or abrasive cleaners will result in
damage to the surface! Therefore use only mild cleaning agents.
Before you install and commission the machine at the intended location, carefully remove the anti-
corrosion protection and grease residues. This can be done with the usual solvents. Under no circum-
stances should you use nitro thinner or other cleaning agents that could attack the machine's paint.
14.4 Assembling the machine
The machine is pre-assembled. The parts that have been disassembled for transport must be assem-
bled before use. Follow the instructions below:
WARNING
Handling the machine with the power supply intact can result in serious injury or death.
Therefore, do not connect the machine to the power supply before completing the as-
sembly.
1. Feet
• Fix the feet (1) with washers (2) and screws (3) on
the bottom of the machine base
2. Assembly planer knife cover
• Loosen screw (1) and lock screw (2) from planer
knife cover (3)
• Insert planer knife cover into the arm planer
knife cover (4)
• Fix the planer knife cover with screw (1) and lock
screw (2)
3. Assembly arm planer knife cover
• Fix the arm planer knife cover (1) with star grip
screw, washer (2) and fixing screw (3) on the exit
planer table (4)
4. Assembly planer fence
• Fix the planer fence (1) with screws (2) on the
entry planer table (3)
