MAINTENANCE AND STOARGE

This product does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the consumer.

REPLACING THE SPOOL (Fig.18 & Fig.19)

NOTE: Before replace the spool, make sure the mains plug is disconnected from the unit.

1. Press together both locking tabs on the spool cover and remove the cover.

2. Remove the old spool from the spool cover

3. Clean out any dirt or grass residue.

4. Put the new spool in the spool housing, thread the line into the holes.

WARNING! Please always keep the spring in position.

WINDING THE LINE (Fig. 20 & 21)

NOTE: Should you wish to wind the line yourself, the instructions are provided below:

It is important to follow these instructions because improperly wound spools will cause the trimmer's feed

system to malfunction. For this reason, users are strongly urged to purchase prewound spools. Prewound

spools are available for purchase online at most home improvement retailer websites.

2. Wind the line following the directional arrows on the spool housing and hook the two ends into the side

grooves.

STORAGE

1. Store the product and its accessories in a dry, frost-free place.

2. Always store the product in a place that is inaccessible to children. The ideal storage temperature is

between 10°C and 30°C (50°F and 86°F).

TRANSPORTATION

1. Switch the product off and disconnect from power supply before transporting it anywhere.

2. Protect the product against scratching and secure it to avoid damage from impact.
