Changing the Channel Steps
The synthesizer of the
FTA-750L/FTA-550/FTA-
450L
provides the option of utilizing channel steps of
8.33/25 kHz per step.
The
FTA-750L/FTA-550/FTA-450L
are set up with
default channel steps of 25 kHz (NAV and COM bands).
If you need to change the channel step increments, se-
lect “
8.33kHz
” on the item “
FREQUENCY STEP
” of the
COMM SETUP
menu in the SETUP mode.

PTT Lock Function
This function prevents accidental transmissions by lock-
ing or disabling the PTT switch.
Turning lock/unlock the PTT lock function
You may selects enable or disable the PTT lock func-
tion.
1.
Press the

.

SETUP
” on the screen by pressing the

key, and then press the

]
key.
3. Select “
CONFIGURATION
” on the screen by pressing
