Advanced Operation
Activating the lock feature
Press and hold the
[
]
key.
According to the setting
of the lockout configu-
ration, either of “
KEY
LOCK
”, “
DIAL LOCK
”,
or “
ALL LOCK
” will ap-
pear on the screen for
2 seconds and then the
display will return to the
previous screen.
While the
FTA-750L/FTA-550/FTA-450L
are
locked, the controls with the
DIAL
selector knob
and/or the keys except the
PTT
switch, the
POWER
switch, and the
[
121.5
]
key are disabled.
If the
DIAL
selector knob is rotated or any of the
keys is pressed, either of “
DIAL LOCK
”, “
KEY LOCK
”,
or “
ALL LOCK
” will appear on the screen for 2 sec-
onds and then the display will return to the previous
screen.
To turn the lock feature
off, press and hold the
[
] key again.
“
UNLOCK
” will ap-
pear on the screen for
2 seconds and then the
display will return to the
previous screen.
