12. Install the aluminium grease filter (if not yet installed) and connect the appliance
to the mains

. The installation of the aluminium grease filter is described in
chapter 6.1 CLEANING OF THE GREASE FILTERS.
13. Check the correct position of the extractor hood from front and side
perspective (s. fig below). Otherwise, the appliance will not work properly.

WARNING! Operate the appliance with inserted grease filters only.
Otherwise, recirculating-transported fat will deposit in the appliance and
the exhaust system. RISK OF FIRE!
2.6 Electrical connection
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches the mains voltage of
your home before you connect the extractor hood to the mains.
Check that the extractor hood is installed properly before you connect the
appliance to the mains.
NOTICE! Any damage caused by an appliance that is improperly
connected to the mains is not covered by the warranty or guarantee.
3. Recirculation mode / Extraction mode
3.1 Extraction mode
WARNING! Do not lead the exhaust air into a chimney which is used
for extracting exhaust air of appliances operated by gas or other
combustibles.

If the socket is covered by the chimney, you must plug in the appliance at an earlier point in time.
