4.3. CHOOSING THE RIGHT COOKWARE

NOTICE!
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE DEVICE.
Never use damaged cookware or cookware with notched edges. Damaged cookware can scratch the glass surface.
Never slide cookware across the glass surface. Sliding cookware can scratch the glass surface.
Always use the appliance with cast iron, enamel or stainless steel cookware suitable for induction.
Choose a pan suitable for induction. Pans suitable for induction are marked with the following symbol: .
The following types of pans are not suitable for induction:
Pans made entirely from stainless steel, aluminium or copper without a magnetic bottom, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic or
earthenware.
Hollow-bottomed pans.
Pans smaller than 10 cm in diameter on the 16 cm diameter cooking zones.
Pans smaller than 12 cm in diameter on the 18 cm diameter cooking zones.
4.4. USING THE DEVICE
WARNING!
FIRE HAZARD FROM OIL AND GREASE. Never leave the appliance unattended while in use. Cooking with fat or oil can be
dangerous and can lead to fire. Never extinguish a fire with water. Switch off the appliance and cover the flames with a lid or
fire blanket.
ELECTROCUTION HAZARD DUE TO SHORT CIRCUIT.
Never use the device if a part is damaged or faulty. Replace a damaged or faulty device immediately. Disconnect the
power cable from the wall socket and contact customer service.
Never use the device in a damp space, like a bathroom, or nearby a bath, shower or swimming pool.
Only use the power cable installed on the appliance from the factory. Do not change the power cable.
FIRE HAZARD DUE TO OVERHEATING.
Always continuously monitor the cooking process while using the appliance.
Do not store any objects on the appliance.
Do not heat empty pans or thin-bottomed pans on the cooking zones.
Never use the appliance to heat a room.
Never use the appliance if the glass surface is cracked. Turn the appliance off.
CAUTION!
RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HEAT. Never place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the cooking zone. Metal
objects can become hot.
4.4.1. TURNING ON THE APPLIANCE
1. Press the on/off button to turn on the appliance.
A sound signal is heard.
2. Place a pan on the cooking zone. Make sure the cooking zone and the bottom of the pan are clean and dry.
After one minute of inactivity, the appliance automatically switches off.
4.4.2. ADJUSTING THE POWER SETTING
1. Press any point on the power level control of a cooking zone of your choice.
2. Swipe over the power level control or press any point to adjust the power level.
The power setting can be adjusted during cooking.
